About the Show:

Because of his shiny nose, Rudolph doesn't feel like he belongs in Christmastown and sets off to find a place that accepts him. Along his journey, he encounters fellow misfits, only to realize that home is where he has belonged the whole time. When a storm threatens to keep Santa's sleigh from taking flight, what makes Rudolph different turns out to be what helps him save Christmas!

Audition Requirements:

• This is a mainstage show. The main characters are adults with a children's chorus. Auditions are open to children ages 8 and up through adults of any age.

• Please prepare a 32 bar cut of a musical theater song in the style of the show or a Christmas carol. Singing from the show is welcomed. An accompanist will be provided. You may be asked to read a short selection from the script at auditions. 

• Auditions will run in groups of two every 10 minutes. Please choose a slot from the available times. If the selection is active, there is room for you in that time slot. If it is grayed out and not selectable, the time slot is full. Please choose another time. Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before your chosen date/time and check in at the table.

• In-person auditions are preferred, but video submissions will be accepted. If you need to submit a video audition, email to monriverarts@gmail.com no later than 9pm Sept 6th.
