AUDITIONS FOR OUR 2024-25 SHOWS

There are 2 days of auditions, Wed Jan 8th from 6:00-8:30pm and Sat Jan 11th from 10am-1pm. You only have to sign up for one of those days. This is for children ages 8-18 who have either taken a class, a camp, or been in a previous show at MRA. If you are a previous participant with MRA, you will receive an email with additional audition information. If you have not participated with Mon River Arts previously, you must sign up for a spring class to audition.
Rehearsals are Mon and Wed 6-8:30pm and Saturdays 10am-1pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Tech week and show weekend runs March 16-23, 2025. YOU MUST CLEAR YOUR SCHEDULE FOR THESE DATES!
About the Show:
Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid JR., adapted from Disney's Broadway production and the motion picture (featuring the enormously popular Academy Award-winning music and delightfully charming book and lyrics). Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance. In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking. Show dates: March 20-23, 2025.
